The Boiler Upgrade Scheme works the same in Wales as in England: a grant of up to £7,500 (£9,000 in some off-gas homes) if you're eligible. On a low income? Check the Welsh Government's Nest scheme first.
Same scheme, same rules
The same law covers England and Wales, with the same amounts, the same off-gas-grid amount, the same end dates, and Ofgem running it.
Applications (via your installer) can be approved until 31 December 2029; installs must be finished while the voucher is valid, and no later than 31 March 2030.
Check Nest first if you're on a low income
In Wales, you may be able to get a heat pump free through Nest if you're on a low income. Check Nest first, because you can't combine it with this grant.
